ANTI-RABIES VACCINATION
 

                                           

Anti-rabies vaccination, in accordance with ANNEX III of Regulation (UE) No 576/2013, is considered valid if:

THE DATE OF IDENTIFICATION (MICROCHIP OR TATTOO) MUST BE PRIOR TO VACCINATION.
HOWEVER, IT IS ACCEPTED THAT VACCINATION OCCURS ON THE SAME DATE OF IDENTIFICATION;


• It was passed at least 21 days since the completion of the vaccination protocol of the first vaccine, never done to the animal before 12 weeks old (primary vaccination)

and either:

Revaccination (booster) was carried out in compliance with the terms recommended by the manufacturer (annually or not as indicated by the technical specifications of the vaccine chosen), otherwise the vaccination must be considered as a primary vaccination;

• The validities period of the vaccine required by the manufacturer is respected;

• The period of validity of the vaccine administered by an authorized or official veterinarian is indicated on the identification document (health certificate) that accompanies each animal.
