ANTIBODY TITRATION

When the animals come from a Country with rabies risk (which is the case of Africa, Brazil, Venezuela, Ukraine, among others)
it is necessary to ensure that there is no risk of spreading disease, so:

At least a month after the date of anti-rabies vaccination and if the animals are already identified, they were submitted to a blood sample for verification of the number of antibodies (enough) concerning the disease, in laboratories approved by the EU;

3 months must have passed since the date of the blood collection prior to movement.
However this period of 3 months shall not apply in the return of an animal who abandoned the community space with this analysis performed with favourable result, if the conditions mentioned earlier are fulfilled.

Please see the EU legislation, namely Regulation (EU) No 576/2013.

See also on Part 2, Annex II of Regulation (EU) No 577/2013 the list of countries with no risk of rabies as USA, Canada, among others.
